Faith and her family packed up and moved to Indy. We wish Faith well on her new adventure. Not only is Faith the conductor of her own train but now she can show off her talents behind the wheel of her own race car. Way to go Faith!

Faith and Laura Stringfellow met Emily Perl Kingsley, writer of Sesame Street since 1970 at the disAbilities Expo in Ft. Wayne Indiana. Emily has a son Jason with Down Syndrome. Jason's story was told in an NBC special titled,"This Is My Son". Because of Jason, Emily has included people with disablities in the Sesame Street cast. Emily has won 17 Emmys for Seasame Street and also written numerous books. She is very active and supportive with issues regarding people with disablities. Maybe because of Faith we can add animals as well.
Logan Horton, who attends Marietta Sixth Grade Academy was given an assignment by his teacher, Suzannah Kolbeck. She asked the class to create a magazine about animals and animal issues. Logan was in charge of the cover story and decided to look online for an interesting or unusual animal to write about. He stumbled across Faith the two legged dog and was immediately interested. Very excited, Logan went to his teacher with his idea about doing the cover story on Faith. Logan contacted Jude Stringfellow, Faith’s owner and she corresponded with Logan answering all his questions and sharing Faith’s inspirational story. Jude commented that Logan will be quite a journalist one day.
Logan’s mother, Robyn said Logan has been around animals his entire life and that he was very excited to create his cover page around Faith the dog. She also stated that she believes this assignment has helped Logan to see that anything is possible and not to give up, to always have a little Faith!
Leo the Dog,
Faith the dog came to our small town of Strawn, Texas. Over five hundred people came to see Faith and her owner, Jude Stringfellow. We left this event feeling inspired by their incredible story and were amazed by this dog that chose to survive. The members of our animal rescue organization C.A.R.E. were equally inspired. Faith gave us a renewed strength and commitment to our mission of rescuing stray, abandoned and homeless animals and finding them forever homes.
Four days after Faith’s visit, Leo came into our lives. Leo is a blue heeler mix that had a severe broken hind leg. An unknown lady noticed he was abandoned by the side of the road, probably hit by a car. She took him to see Veterinarian, Tad Jarrett. Dr. Jarrett examined Leo and realized his leg was beyond repair. It would have to be removed. He gave us this news and we had to decide if we could afford the surgery and care of this dog. We are a small organization in a rural area. It seemed to be a difficult decision at first. Should most of our funds go into this one animal? Then someone in our group brought up Faith the Dog. Didn’t we just have this inspiring story of survival and goodwill? The decision was made at that moment. We would help Leo and know that God would take care of the rest.
Leo had his leg removed and was adopted the same day. Dr. Jarrett
waved the fee. Our organization was extremely excited at the outcome of this situation. Faith gave us the encouragement to believe. God truly is using Faith for his purpose to touch and change lives. We thank God for Faith and her extraordinary story and Jude for sharing it with us all.

My name is Aaron. I currently reside in Los Angeles, California. It was over five years ago that I became aware of Faith the dog. I was hospitalized for alcoholism detox, chemical dependency and rehabilitation. I had struggled for years with clinical depression, suicidal tendencies and chronic alcoholism and drug addiction. The day before I was to be released, the nurse who was overseeing my case called me to her office to go over my aftercare procedures and follow up treatments. While sitting in her office I noticed a picture on her desk of a little dog with no front legs. Still dealing with the anger and frustrations I had about having to be in a hospital setting, I made a snide joke about her running over her family dog. She explained to me about her own battle with alcoholism and drug addiction. She shared her story about how Faith saved her life. It's very peculiar how God works through people and circumstances. In a thirty minute office meeting with a picture of Faith the dog staring me in the face and a Nurse who understood where I was at in my life, the desire and obsession to drink or use drugs left me for the first time since I was nine years old. After our meeting, I retired to my room to contemplate my life and what to do next, I then did something I hadn't done in years, I cried, then I prayed.
Upon waking the next morning for medication and group time, on my bedside table, I found a copy of Faith's picture with a handwritten note attached from the nurse. The note read "Aaron, do yourself a huge favor, keep this photo with you, as a sign that God has a plan for everything and everybody including you and when you feel like you're about to give up and self destruct, having a little faith on hand is a good way to remember God's love..." I have not had the desire to drink or use drugs since December 10, 2003.
When I'm having a particularly hard day or I find myself feeling insecure I take out Faith's picture, which I keep in my wallet and I remember what FAITH stands for. "Fearful And Insecure Trust Him" FAITH...
The Faith Train,
The Faith Train shares Faith’s message of, Hope, Determination & Inspiration around the world. Many have witnessed first hand the power of Faith. When she walks into a room not only does heads turn but hearts melt and love fills the air. Faith brings out the best in us. She doesn’t discriminate against the color of our skin or the statues of our lot. She will wag her tail and lick your face no matter where in the world you are. Faith is a two legged bipedal dog that walks foot over foot. Because of the love of her family and the power of Faith, she stood upright. Faith hopped at first and then she ran. She loves to chase a squirrel up the tree and geese around the yard. No one told Faith this was impossible. Was it natural, No! It was SuperNatural.
So let us come together and share in Faith’s message of Hope, Determination & Inspiration around the world and get On Board “The Faith Train”

How my friend Jude Stringfellow’s dog FAITH truly gave me FAITH!
Not long ago I was diagnosed with a stage I, left multi-focal, invasive breast cancer. Before that, I lost a baby (first trimester) and my father, who I adored. When I heard the words from my doctor “you have breast cancer” I was not surprised. I had a family history of the disease and I had been taking hormone replacement therapy for 12 years. Seven years after breast cancer my 20 year marriage fell apart. But I continued to have FAITH.
Then one day I was blessed to meet a woman named Jude Stringfellow. We became friends quickly, had many things in common, and then I found out that Jude is the owner to a dog named FAITH. She told me the story how FAITH was found by her son, Reuben, and she did not have any front legs. I remember seeing FAITH while watching Oprah one day. I was shocked when FAITH came walking out onto the stage. It was at that moment I met FAITH via TV or better known as the “Boob Tube” for me.
I shared with Jude about how after I saw FAITH on Oprah that she inspired me to become an advocate to help educate all young women and men about breast cancer, which ultimately led me to writing my book titled The Empty Cup Runneth Over. What a joy to now have both Jude and FAITH in my life, and a pleasure to hop on to what is now called “The FAITH TRAIN.”

My name is Minakshi and I come from Mauritius.
I received an email from a friend about a dog named Faith. The moment I started to read the email, I was very touched with the story of Faith. From the first line till the last one, my tears kept on flowing. I am myself an animal lover, so no need to tell you how touched I was. But of course, sometimes many mails you receive may not be true. So I went on google and tried to find out about Faith and I fell on a clip on you tube, where Jude was talking about Faith.
I believe that Faith is a unique example of Love, courage, perseverance and a lesson of Life, whereby whatever the difficulty of life, one should never lose hope. I believe that Faith was a very sad pup until she was adopted by Jude. The love she got from her new family has given Faith the courage and will power to live and walk like a human being!!!! For me, the only differences between a human and a dog is simply that dogs cannot talk our language and they love you irrespective of whom you are. Faith was taken in a family despite her condition and the love and care she received gave her the strength to live a happy life. I fell in love with Faith the moment I saw the pictures and the clip. This dog proves to us humans that whatever your situation in life, whatever problems you have you should never lose hope. This is a beautiful story. I pray God that Faith has a long happy life, she continues to spread happiness wherever she goes and keep on spreading the message of Love and courage!
Well, this is a bit that I had to say.
Thank you very much and wish you a nice day ahead,
Warm regards
Minakshi
One sunny afternoon we met the most beautiful, gentle and courageous dog on earth and her name is Faith. She is such an inspiration to everyone that meets her. Faith walked up the steps to our deck in Springfield, Michigan on her two little feet. You would never know she had a disability. What a miracle she is.
